Who we are
Ubiquitech was founded in January 2006 with the aim of developing and delivering reliable, effective and secure online business solutions and services to customers in the commercial and government sectors. First and foremost, we are driven by a commitment to customer satisfaction. By partnering with our customers and working closely as a team with them, we are able to rapidly develop and adapt our products and services to match their evolving requirements.
To become a highly respected solutions development company, which provides online transaction processing systems and services of the utmost reliability and quality.
Our Technology and Capabilities
Ubiquitech’s technical team has built up an unrivalled base of experience in software development, network security, and fault-tolerant computing. Over many years we have selected a technology suite and corresponding development methodologies that allow us to rapidly develop bullet-proof solutions to our customers’ business requirements.
Our systems and services are:
Reliable and Secure
Our servers are hosted by a commercial ISP which provides physical security (including biometric access control), environmental conditioning, uninterruptible power supply with backup generators, and multiple redundant high-speed Internet connections. In addition, our databases are replicated in real time to an off-site backup server, so your data is safe!
Available everywhere and always
Our services can be accessed securely and conveniently from anywhere that has Internet access, whether via a corporate LAN, ADSL or iBurst, 3G wireless access, or dialup telephone line. By using bulletproof hardware and software, together with redundant Internet connections to the data centre, we ensure that system downtime is unheard of.
Fast, inexpensive and easy to use
No equipment, other than a web browser and an Internet connection, is required on the customer’s premises. By minimising unnecessary usage of bandwidth, we have developed user interfaces that are user-friendly and intuitive, yet uncluttered and highly responsive (response times are typically sub-second).
Flexible and scalable
Besides a standard web-browser interface, our applications typically also can provide output in the form of PDF documents and Excel spreadsheets, and allow bulk data input by uploading Excel spreadsheets. User notifications are provided by means of email and/or SMS, and interfacing with legacy systems is achieved by means of Web Services using a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
